Agree, but we probably won't, will we?

The fact we have left it this late to do any business means we are going to have to be extremely lucky to do any decent business.

I cannot get my head around how slow we are in every single transfer window when we've had 4-5 months to seek out signings.

We can do better than Chambers. He did well at Fulham but only when moved to a defensive midfield position. As a CB and RB he really struggled. What has happened to Diop though? It wasn't that long ago that he looked a real prospect and Mourinho described him as a beast after we beat Man Utd. Remember that run he went on at Spurs when he nearly scored in the 1-0 win? He just looks like a shadow of that player. Maybe his confidence has been shot by Moyes?

Even if we were interested Arsenal probably wouldn't have let him join us for the same reasons Man Utd won't sell us Lingard this window.

Wasn't he Fulham's player of the season at one point?
I always felt he was a good player, basically hung out to dry by Arsenal management really.
If Moyes can get Dawson going I always thought he could get someone like Chambers back in the England camp.. oh well.. thats done now.

Would have taken him on a free to replace the shot to pieces Diop and as a long term replacement for Dawson.
No world beater but a solid Premier league player

I said we should have gone in for him last week on the transfer thread. Obvious signing for us as he can play centre mid as well.

I have no idea what we are doing recruitment wise right now. Its just so odd.

We really could have done with Chambers on a free especially when we are being quoted £15m for a less experienced CB like Nat Phillips.

Tore us a new one in the 3-3 draw last season.

Villa have 3 full backs who’d walk into our team.

Their second XI would probably best out first team now.
